Discover your creative spark in this fun and inspiring 5-week art journaling class! Whether you're a beginner artist or have been creating for years, we all sometimes face art blocks. This class is all about helping you reconnect with your inner child, letting go of perfectionism, and making space for inspiration to flow naturally.
Throughout the class, we'll explore a variety of techniques to encourage creative thinking, experiment with different art mediums, and learn how to express emotions through creativity. Participants will learn how to channel their thoughts, feelings, and intuitive nudges into their art, while also developing a deeper connection to their own creative voice. This supportive environment is perfect for anyone looking to reignite their passion for creating or reconnect with themselves through art.
Markers, pens, acrylic paint, glue, and other misc. Supplies are already provided so you can be creative and have fun!
Supply List Needed:
-Mixed Media Sketchbook size 7’x10’ or above.
-Any art supplies you already have that you would like to experiment with (examples: watercolor paints, ink, alcohol markers, magazine scraps, etc.)

Intermediate: Will learn composition, how to set up a still life, working from warm to cool colors, dark to light, thin to thick, and much more.
Experienced: Gaylon can utilize his extensive knowledge to help you enhance your paintings. He can serve as an additional set of eyes and offer suggestions to help you improve your painting skills.

My goal is for you to leave this course feeling confident and inspired to continue painting independently. No prior experience is required, and artists of all skill levels are welcome.
